Place Plan Consultation Highlights Common Issues

The same key themes were highlighted across Auchtermuchty, Strathmiglo, Dunshalt and Gateside in this summer’s consultation for the Local Place Plan. These themes are:

• Quality of Life: Housing; Village Connections; Health and Wellbeing.
• Work and Opportunity: Enterprise; Employment; Tourism.
• Play and Leisure: Park areas; Music, theatre and festivals; Use of natural assets
• Connectivity: Transport; Active travel; Broadband.
• Environment: Routes and paths; Flood prevention; Biodiversity.

The next step will be to turn these themes into practical suggestions for the local place plan and community projects. There will be further consultation in coming up with these proposals
