Following comments from a number of groups that the Hall was beginning to 'look a bit dated' and was like 'a hospital ward' the Association was successful in getting a grant from Fife Council to sand and refinish the floor, completely redecorate, clean the chairs, install blackout blinds and develop a display of all the old Dunshalt photos. Thanks to the sterling efforts of a group of village volunteers the whole job was completed within two weeks when most user groups were off for the summer.
