A warm welcome to Gavin and Tori and the rythmic world of African Hand Drumming. The djembe is a wooden goblet-shaped drum with a skin stretched over the top and pulled tight with ropes. It is a very important instrument in West African culture, used for all occasions and ceremonies.
African hand drumming workshops are a great opportunity to not only give people a chance to try their hands at a new skill, but also to broaden their knowledge of a different culture’s music and work together as a team.
Workshops are every second Saturday in the Village Hall, from 1.00 - 3.00pm. Contact
